The End: New Horizons in Photography
With this work I intend to push the limitations of the photograph, using the medium itself, as the subject. These camera less images are created by using light, colour film, photographic paper and chemicals, and are immediate in nature.
I feel that this body of work is coming at a particularly interesting point in time. With the introduction of the digital arts, the photographic medium seems to be loosing touch with itself. I feel that it is important to start to define these two forms of art making before we determine their relationship to one another.
